Who teaches the ServSafe courses?

All of our Instructors/Proctors are certified through the National Restaurant Association to teach the ServSafe courses. Your Certified Instructor will conduct a comprehensive review followed by the examination.

Do I need to study before attending class?

The 7th edition ServSafe Managers book contains more than 300 pages. It is important for each student to study this book before class.

When will I receive my book?

Book(s) are shipped upon registration via UPS or USPS to allow time for the student to study.

What time should I arrive for class?

Please arrive 15 minutes before class begins. Confirmation of class time will be sent to you by email following registration.

How will I know my course registration is confirmed?

Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an email confirming your order.

What information will my invoice include?

Another email will be sent with your invoice attached. The invoice will have the class time, class date, class location, and attendee’s name(s).

When will my exam results be available?

Scores from the examination are posted approximately 10 days after the examination date.

What score do I need to pass?

You must score a 70% or higher to pass the examination.

How will I receive my certificate?

The National Restaurant Association now issues eCertificates. As a courtesy to our customers, TSC Associates downloads all scores and eCertificates and sends them to our customers via email. Please note, email addresses provided at the time of registration will receive all examination results as well as other email notifications.

How long is the ServSafe Managers Certification valid?

Earning your ServSafe Managers Certification is acceptable in most states as CFPM (Certified Food Protection Manager). This certification is valid for 5 years.
